While the mobile world waits in anticipation for the Windows Phone 8 devices Nokia is supposedly going to reveal in September, I just ran across a few concept shots of a Nokia phone with a Windows Phone 8 button upgrade:

Posted on the portfolio of a UI designer at Microsoft, here’s the description that goes along with the images:
Responsible for creating a mood board and setting the product design direction in it’s incubation stage. Worked on the overall look and feel of the phone system. Established a grid/typography system and created design guide/templates for all the feature teams to follow. Provided art direction for the core experience.
I haven’t kept up much with Windows Phone or Nokia up to this point, so I’m not sure how old or new these actually are. Either way, head on over to the designer’s site for full-resolution images and more. And for all of you Nokia and Windows Phone experts out there, feel free to chime in via the comments below and share your thoughts.

I love it. I will always be a Microsoft software fan. I’m looking forward to buy the new Nokia because my old one need to be replaced. I hope we can put everything together like they said before.
