@Anonymous: Why is it funny or odd? Windows 7 may not be on the store shelves at this point in time, but it's finished. Done. Completed.

We all know a Windows 7 service pack (maybe even 2) will come before Windows 8, but the features listed here are all considerations posted by Microsoft employees themselves! Thus, Microsoft's considerations for Windows 8; major features you won't find in any upcoming service packs (though they aren't considerations set in stone, so there's no guarantee we'll see them in Windows 8, either).

It's not putting the cart before the horse, but more of a case of people interested in contributing their opinions to what's next. If Microsoft reads the opinions of people on my blog, then this information is worth posting - even if only for the possibility that it may contribute to what Microsoft decides to do internally and potentially in favor of those who have taken the time and vested the interest to voice their opinions.

Microsoft continuously seeks to make their product better and many users follow suit. There's nothing wrong with a little bit of speculation and the creation of a wish list by those who love and/or use Windows. I don't think so, at least! =)
